A Curative Reading Sunday Night

Reading Louisa May Alcott's short story, Nelly's Hospital, written in 1865, reminds us we heal in community and in connection with other loving beings.  Love and connection are available to us at all times but sometimes it takes the loving and curative touch of a child to lead the way toward remembering.

Curative Reading transcends a traditional reading experience by teaching new modalities for restorative and adaptive health all sparked from the pages of great literary fiction.

Each Curative Reading experience includes:

​

• reading 10-20 pages/2500-5000 words of a short story story 

• answering curative questions about the story

• attending a 75-minute guided literary-health conversation online

• receiving a curative reading prescription during the online session related to story content and offering health-tips from experts in the fields of medicine, literature, science, nature and more
