Whatever it is that is ailing you, there is a story for that. Finding just the right story at just the right time is an act of alchemy that takes place between me and the ones who come my way. Read with me and find new medicine hidden inside the pages of a story picked exclusively for you.
Unwanted challenge and unexpected change can drop us into deep discouragement for life. Our brains and our bodies can find themselves looping in an endless story that does not feel good. Embracing the healing power of story while making a deep connection with other individuals to share that story can be a powerful remedy to inspire us to change and grow for the better.

What does a one-on-one Curative Shorts story include?

Three 45 minute guided story sessions spread out weekly including an initial story share to select the story, a session after reading to connect share and imagine, and a final follow up to spark new inspirations to grow for the better

How Did Curative Shorts Come About?
My library of Curative Shorts stories has been well read and tested in bookstores, libraries and hospitals since 2019. At the start of the pandemic lockdown in 2020 I began offering complimentary story events in my home virtually twice a week for individuals and groups of up to 12. At the time, I was coming out of a protracted 6+ year patient experience, and high on my list of remedies was my belief in Curative Reading and all that I had learned about imagination, connection, and the power of story to heal. I knew I had to keep stories going for myself as well as others to help us all move out of the fight or flight response and boost our immune systems to fight the virus. Since that time I have hosted over 200 curative reading events with both short stories and novels.
